Friendships at school and soccer can be a wonderful experience that combines the social and sporting aspects of your life. By combining school and soccer, friendships become even stronger.

This is exactly what happened with Camille and me.

We both go to the same elementary school and have been great friends since kindergarten.

Camille and I play soccer whenever we can at school. She's very good at playing defense and goalkeeping.

When I joined a team closer to my school for the summer, I asked Camille if she wanted to play and she enthusiastically said yes! It's been an extraordinary decision for both of us.

Friends at school and on the soccer team can become a vital support system. Camille encourages me in difficult times - like when my coach forced me to play goalkeeper 😂. Most importantly, we celebrate our successes together.

School and soccer offer plenty of opportunities to socialize with your friends. You can engage in conversations, share experiences, participate in social events and gatherings related to school or soccer. These interactions have strengthened our friendships while creating lasting memories. The good news is that our journey is just getting started 🙂

Camille and I take every opportunity to learn from each other and grow together as teammates, both on and off the soccer field.
